Client: Neighborhood of Affordable Housing		402 Meridian Street East Boston, MA

Restoration/renovation of this Boston Historic Landmark, originally a brick settlement house, provided congregate residential opportunities for sixteen elderly occupants.  A combination of individual suites, private rooms, and shared common spaces was developed to foster independence, while nurturing social interaction among residents.

Design maintained and restored the original grandeur of the building, while simultaneously making it a homelike setting responsive to the needs of its new occupants.
