Environmentally sensitive development plan for this steep mountainside location leaves most of the site undisturbed. Designed in conformance with Vermont’s Act 250, among the nation’s most strict environmental regulations, forty-four residential condominiums and rental units, with a recreational community center, are grouped to follow the existing slope and preserve the existing vegetation. Traffic distribution uses a European village circulation pattern, excluding parking from within residential areas.
Elton + Hampton Architects Principal Bruce Hampton had primary responsibility for site and architectural design on this project while employed at another firm.
