Project required the addition of two wings, incorporating faculty offices, seminar space, multi-media facility, and observation learning laboratory space, to Tufts’ existing single story, 1970’s Child Development Center.  The Center houses the University’s laboratory program for early childhood education, and includes an active pre-kindergarten component.  Additions were designed to evoke a playful charm and scale appropriate to the child-centered nature of the program, and to unify disparate elements found in previous additions.
