Client: Elder Service Plan of the North Shore

Elton + Hampton Architects renovated this small industrial building, formerly used for glass fabrication and storage, and added a new wing, creating at PACE/Buffum a cheerful, attractive component of central Lynn’s urban streetscape.  Frail or disabled elderly clients are transported to and from the facility daily, and receive health, therapeutic, and meal services in a supervised social setting.

PACE/Buffum is one of four similar facilities designed by Elton + Hampton Architects and operated by the PACE program to provide services to disabled elderly individuals and their families.
