Adaptive reuse of the Italianate structure that housed the original Deaconess Hospital, with multiple complementary additions, created permanent rental housing for twelve formerly homeless mothers with their children. Shared space, accommodating support programs and activities for both parents and children, includes a day care facility for twenty-seven children.
The exterior details of this significant building within an historic district were restored to their original appearance.
