The architectural variety and complex color scheme that define this four-building project deliberately reflect the diversity of residents in this intentional community.  One of two CoHousing complexes the firm has completed in Cambridge, Cornerstone is a development of 32 unique units, with shared community facilities.  Residents coalesced around the goal of forming a heterogeneous residential neighborhood, acting in the role of group and individual clients from inception to completion of the project.

The group’s programmatic goals included 100% visitability of all units, a balance of privacy and community, and site design maximizing usable open space within the densely built project.
