A graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Washington, and a Registered Architect since 1981, Judith Bowen has developed an exceptional career as a User Needs Advocate, working resolutely to raise the bar for design in the public, urban arena.  Judith’s belief in the deep impact of environments on the lives, health, and well-being of inhabitants informs all aspects of her work.

As Project Architect and Designer for diverse planned neighborhoods, including the Back-of-the-Hill projects, Cornerstone Cohousing, and Brian J. Honan Apartments, Judith has contributed residential environments of extraordinary beauty to Boston’s urban context, enriching both neighborhood and resident experience.
